Yes - 100% free, forever. No sign-up, no credit card, no hidden paywalls. We sustain the site through non-intrusive ads.
No account is needed to use any feature of RQG. Just visit the site, spin the wheel, and get your question. Simple.
Every question in our library is hand-curated by the RQG team. We test questions in real conversations before publishing. The spin wheel selects a category segment at random, then draws a random question from that category's pool.
We currently have 650+ questions across 10 categories. We're adding new questions regularly - our target is 1,000+ by end of 2026.
We have 10 categories: Icebreaker, Deep Talk, Fun & Funny, Couples, Friends, Trivia, Kids & Family, Team Building, Would You Rather, and Other.
Yes! On the Generator page, use the filter chips above the wheel to lock it to one or more categories before spinning.
Yes - every question has a unique shareable URL. Use the Share button on any question card to copy the link or share directly to Twitter/X or WhatsApp.
On the Generator page, scroll to the Bulk Generate section. Choose a category and a count (up to 50), click Generate, then copy all to clipboard or download as a .txt file.
The spin wheel is animated with a CSS cubic-bezier deceleration curve - it starts fast and slows down naturally, just like a real spinning wheel. The duration is slightly randomised each spin so it never feels identical.
Yes - press the Space bar to spin the wheel from anywhere on the Generator page.
Absolutely. RQG is fully responsive and works on all screen sizes. The spin wheel scales to fit mobile screens automatically.
Not yet - but API access is on our Phase 4 roadmap. If this is something you need, email us at hello@randomquestiongenerator.com and we'll prioritise it.
Yes! We'd love that. Email your suggestions to hello@randomquestiongenerator.com with the category it belongs to. Community-submitted questions are on the Phase 3 roadmap.
We work hard to keep ads non-intrusive. Ads are never placed inside the spin wheel interaction zone or overlapping the question card. All ad containers are clearly labelled 'Advertisement'.
